Applying WebSphere Commerce V6.0.0.1 Fix Pack to WebSphere Commerce Payments instance on i5/OS (IY91513)
Problem(Abstract)
You are installing WebSphere Commerce V6.0.0.1 Fix Pack to a WebSphere Commerce Payments instance on i5/OS, where the WAS version is greater than 6.0.2.5. The installation fails, and the error is found in the \QIBM\ProdData\CommerceServer60\logs\update\actions\install\deployear_<Payments_instance>_Commerce_Payments_App.log log. When this log file is converted into EBCDIC, the following error is can be found:


/QIBM/UserData/WebSphere/AppServer/V6/ND/profiles/<payments_instance>/config/cells/WPM_<payments_instance>_cell/applications/<payments_instance>_Commerce_Payments_App.ear/deltas/<payments_instance>_Commerce_Payments_App.ear. No such path or directory.
Cause A path change in WAS causes a step during the WebSphere Commerce V6.0.0.1 Fix Pack update process to fail. Resolving the problem This APAR only applies to the case when the WebSphere Commerce 6.0.0.1 Fix Pack is applied to WebSphere Commerce Payments instance on i5/OS where the WAS version is greater than 6.0.2.5.

To apply the APAR IY91513:

  1. Apply WebSphere Commerce 6.0.0.1 Fix Pack to the WebSphere Commerce product installation.

  2. Apply the APAR (IY91513) found in the Related information section of this technote to the WebSphere Commerce product installation.

  3. Apply WebSphere Commerce 6.0.0.1 Fix pack to the WebSphere Commerce payments instance.
