WebSphere Commerce v6 - prerequisites, supported operating systems, databases and servers
Problem(Abstract)
You would like to know what version levels of products are supported for IBM WebSphere Commerce v6.
Resolving the problem This page lists products supported for use with WebSphere Commerce Versions 6.0.

IBM supports the use of more recent maintenance releases (but not necessarily new full releases) of the listed products. Refer to the # footnote listed at the end of the table.

Individual components may have additional prerequisites. Consult the documentation for the product before applying the prerequisites to your WebSphere Commerce system.

Compatibility mode support: WebSphere Commerce v6 does not take advantage of new features of functionality that are released with these new software versions:
- WAS V6.1
- IBM DB2 V9
WebSphere Commerce v6 continues to use these new versions in the same manner as it did with the previous version of WebSphere Application Server and IBM DB2.[
If you install and use either of these new software versions, you can take advantage of new features or functionality provided it does not impact WebSphere Commerce functionality.
