| Receive "Order total is not reconciled with payment amount" while modifying an order in WebSphere Commerce through Accelerator |
| Problem(Abstract) |
| After modifying an order on Accelerator, such as increasing the quantity of a product from 1 to 2, you receive a notification dialog "Order total is not reconciled with payment amount" that prevents you from saving the current order information. |
Step 1: Using Accelerator (B2C or B2B), create an order by selecting Operations > Find Customers. Select the customer and click on Place Order.
Step 2: Change the order by selecting Operation > Find
Orders. Select the order and click on Change.
Step 3: Modify the Quantity from 1 to 2, as indicated below.
Step 4: At Payment, click on Submit or Save. It always generates the
error “Order total is not reconciled with payment amount�. There is no way
to exit from this panel since it always generates this error.
The reason is that, when you increase the quantity of a product from 1 to 2, you should increase your payment amount accordingly. Follow the steps below to avoid this notification message.
Step 1: Through Accelerator, create an order by selecting Operations > Find Customers. Select the customer and click on Place Order.
Step 2: Change the order by selecting Operation > Find Orders. Select the order and click on Change.
Step 3: Modify the Quantity from 1 to 2.
Step 4: From Payment, click on Submit or Save, It always generates the dialog “Order total is not reconciled with payment amount�, it is used to notify you to add/update payment instruction since additional product is added into the order. You need to add a new payment instruction or update the original payment instruction to reconcile the payment with the order total.
Step 5: After add/Update the payment instruction, you may click on
Submit or Save.
