Abstract
Use the sample application on top of your existing version
of the IBM WebSphere Commerce Gift Center to take advantage of a richer
multichannel gift registry solution.

The IBM Gift Center sample application allows gift registrants to
create and manage gift registries from an in-store kiosk environment. A
gift giver can visit the store and use the touch screen kiosk to complete
their tasks including viewing and printing out a shopping list. In
addition, kiosk peripherals, such as a scanner or printer make this a
self-serve solution for both gift registrants and gift givers.
This package provides code for a sample kiosk gift registry channel, and
the installation instructions for applying the sample application. The
sample is packaged as a SAR file.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites for installing and using the IBM Gift Center sample
application is an existing version of WebSphere Commerce 6.0, the IBM Gift
Center enabled on top of WebSphere Commerce, and the online/web gift
registry SAR published.
