Views and URLs are not found after publishing the StorefrontAssetStore Technote
(troubleshooting)Problem(Abstract) When creating stores using the ConsumerDirectStoreFrontAssetStore template everything works fine. However, when using the additional StorefrontAssetStore templates, you cannot find any of the views and URLs.
Cause The problem is caused by the fact that the struts-cfg file is updated only when publishing the full ExtendedSites.sar file. When publishing just the ConsumerDirectStorefrontAssetStore.sar file, there is no task to update struts-cfg.
The file with the details of what to enter in struts-cfg actually does exist in the ConsumerDirectStorefrontAssetStore.sar, at WEB-INF/stores/StoreAssetsDir/data/struts-config-update.tpl.xml . However, only the WEB-INF/stores/ExtendedSites/data/ibm-wc-load.xml file in ExtendedSites.sar includes instructions to process this file. The ibm-wc-load.xml file in the ConsumerDirectStorefrontAssetStore.sar does not provide these instructions.
Resolving the problem As a workaround, you can add these entries to the struts-cfg-ext.xml file manually for the new StorefrontAssetStore storeent_ids. This problem is fixed by applying WebSphere Commerce 6.0.0.2 Fix Pack or higher.
