Objective

Withdraw an existing product.

 

Description

A product will be removed from the catalog when the product is withdrawn. This is an optional task for some users who may always keep products within the catalogs. When a reseller receives a withdrawal notice from the manufacturer, any affected kits and bundles that contain the manufacturer's product need to be updated.

Remove product	A product is removed from the Master Catalog either physically or logically such that it cannot be bought or viewed.	Product Manager
Update affected kits	Any kits or bundles that contain the discontinued product need to be updated. Updates can take the form of one or more of the following: The kit is also marked as discontinued. The kit's price and description are modified to reflect the change. The replacement product is substituted in the kit.	Product Manager
