Objective

To setup an online store utilizing the product strategy that has been defined in the product strategy document. This includes setting up the store catalog, the products listed within the catalog and managing the product lifecycle of products.

Description

After defining the product and marketing strategy the strategy is implemented in the online store. This process involves setting up a catalog, or changing an existing catalog or product set. Sales at the store are closely monitored against performance targets. Historic data is used to define any necessary changes. The continuous monitoring process loop ensures that the store does not stagnate, or miss opportunities to make changes in the environment that may be beneficial to the store's long term success. The monitoring loop ensures that the store is continuously identifying opportunities and options. Finally, as opportunities are identified in the process loop, the entire process is set in motion again this ensures that product and marketing objectives are always in line with changes to the environment.
