Process: Register with the store
Flow
Objective
To allow unregistered customers to register with the store. (ConsumerDirect). B2BDirect customers must pre-register with the B2BDirect store in order to access it.
Description
Customers can register with the store in order to enjoy more features. If the customer chooses to register, they need to provide personal information before submitting the registration form. The login ID, password, last name, and at least one address, are required fields. The customer can optionally provide other information such as e-mail preferences, language preference, and contact information. B2BDirect customers must be registered with the store in order to shop at the store.

Registered customers enjoy the following features:
- Access to quick checkout.
- Ability to have wish lists saved from previous shopping sessions
Customization
The following features may be enabled or disabled by using the Change Flow notebook in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Preferred currency
- Preferred language
- Age information

Tasks
Task Description Role Enter registration information The customer provides required registration information, including e-mail address and password.
Customer Submit registration form The customer submits the registration form. If the data in the form is complete and valid, the customer is registered.
