Objective
To allow a gift registry registrant to manage an existing gift registry.
Description
A gift registry registrant can update and maintain an existing gift registry.
Features
Once a gift registry registrant has created a registry, it can be managed by:
- Reviewing, adding to, or removing items from the gift registry list
- Updating any gift registry profile information, such as changes to the event, or contact or shipping addresses and preferences
- Deleting gift registries that are no longer needed; for example, in the case that an event has been cancelled or a gift registry was mistakenly created
- Tracking items purchased from the registry list, and keep notes about gifts received
- Announcing the gift registry to friends and family
Customization
Various business rules can be configured to change behaviors of Gift Center. For details, refer to the IBM Gift Center section within the WebSphere Commerce Information Center.
