Disable WAS security
You can disable WAS security.
- Start the WAS administration server.
- Launch the WAS Administration Console.
- For each server that is running your WebSphere Commerce application, complete the following steps:
- Expand Security and click Global security.
- Clear the Enable global security check box.
- Clear the Enforce Java 2 Security check box which is selected by default.
- Click Apply.
- Restart the WAS administration server. When you restart the WAS Administration Console, you will be prompted for a user name and password.
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Configuration Manager.
- SelectWebSphere Commerce > node > Commerce Instance List > instance > Instance Properties Security
- Verify the Enable Server Level Security check box is not checked.
- Verify the Enable Global Security check box is not checked.
- Click Apply.
- Close the Configuration Manager.
