Disable WAS security

You can disable WAS security.

  1. Start the WAS administration server.

  2. Launch the WAS Administration Console.

  3. For each server that is running your WebSphere Commerce application, complete the following steps:

    1. Expand Security and click Global security.

    2. Clear the Enable global security check box.

    3. Clear the Enforce Java 2 Security check box which is selected by default.

    4. Click Apply.

  4. Restart the WAS administration server. When you restart the WAS Administration Console, you will be prompted for a user name and password.

  5. Open the WebSphere Commerce Configuration Manager.

  6. SelectWebSphere Commerce > node > Commerce Instance List > instance > Instance Properties Security

  7. Verify the Enable Server Level Security check box is not checked.

  8. Verify the Enable Global Security check box is not checked.

  9. Click Apply.

  10. Close the Configuration Manager.
