Migrate the WebSphere Commerce application

After migrating the database, the application tier can be migrated.

It is strongly recommended to use the WebSphere Commerce Migration wizard for migration to reduce the probability of errors. Migration steps for the Migration wizard can be found in the WebSphere Commerce Migration Guide .

To migrate the WebSphere Commerce application:

1. Ensure that you have migrated the WebSphere Commerce database. See Migrate the WebSphere Commerce database.

2. Perform all premigration steps, and meet all prerequisite requirements contained in the WebSphere Commerce Migration Guide.

3. Migrate the application using the WCIM utility.

4. Migrate the Web server.

5. Perform post migration steps. See the WebSphere Commerce Migration Guide.
