Configure the display source for statistical counters
- Open the WebSphere Commerce master configuration file.
- In that file, find the BusinessIntelligence element.
- Update the StatisticsSource attribute value to the host name of the machine from which you want to serve campaign statistics. By default, this is the machine where the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator is located. You can enter either the host name of the production server, or of a development server if you do not have access to the production server through either the Internet or your Intranet. If you enter the host name of a development server, you will have to export the statistics from the production server to the specified development server prior to viewing the statistics. Furthermore if the machine from which you want to serve statistics is different than the machine where you originally log in, you should add the port number to the host name.
- Make the same update to the following file: WC_eardir/xml/config/ws-server.xml. That is, update the StatisticsSource attribute of the BusinessIntelligence element in this file.
- Stop and restart your WebSphere Commerce instance.
This host name will be used when users click any Statistics selections.
