What are Forums?
A forum is an online discussion board where people can ask questions, share their experiences, and discuss topics of mutual interest.
Forums are a way to create social connections and a sense of community. They can also help you to cultivate an interest group about a particular subject.
Use the Forums application to start discussions about a specific topic or to debate solutions to shared problems. By participating in a forum, we can exchange ideas, ask questions, and use the expertise of people in the organization.
A forum can be stand-alone or be associated with a community. In a stand-alone forum, anyone can post a topic or respond to a topic, but only a community member can participate in a community forum.
When you open the Forums application, the My Forums page is displayed. We can use this page to stay up-to-date with the forums that you own or follow, along with the community forums to which you belong.
If we are new to Forums, use the Public Forums page as the entry point to participating in forums. If we cannot find an ongoing discussion about the focus area, you might want to start our own forum.
