Work with community forums
Use the community's forum to post topics for discussion and share ideas.
For additional information about how to work with community forums, see Forums.
- Add forums to a community
When a community is created, it contains a forum by default. We can add more forums to organize community discussions around different focus areas. We cannot add existing, stand-alone forums to a community.
- Manage display settings in community forums
As a community owner, we can determine if the community forum shows a forum list or topic list by default.
- Browsing community forums
Community forums are a useful place to brainstorm and collect feedback on topics that are relevant to the community. Use the community's forums to share ideas with members and discuss topics of common interest. Every community has a Forums area by default.
- Add topics to a community forum
Start a discussion with members of the community by adding a topic to one of the community forums. Anyone who can access the forums can view the new topic.
- Work with forum content
Edit, move, or delete forum topics, and mark topic content as inappropriate.
