The Initial Indexing Exceptions tab returns any exceptions encountered when crawling the services during an initial index building task.

Checking exceptions encountered when crawling services

Review any exceptions displayed and determine why the URL displayed is not returning data to be indexed. Use these steps to investigate exceptions returned in this tab:

• Check the service has started without any exceptions being encountered.

• Determine if the URL displayed is returning data by opening it in a browser.

• Review the logs from the problem service, and address any exceptions found.
