Reuse Connections 4.x content stores in Connections 5.0
While installing IBM Connections 5.0, we are prompted to specify the locations of the 4.0 or 4.5 content stores. Instead of creating new directories, we can specify the 4.0 and 4.5 content to reuse that content in the 5.0 deployment.
We delete any Search application related data from the Connections 4.0 or 4.5 content stores, such as indexes and statistics. The 5.0 installation generates new search-related data.
The following data should be deleted, as it is recreated in Connections 5.0...
- local_content_store/news/search/index
- local_content_store/profiles/cache
- local_content_store/search/backup
- local_content_store/search/index
- shared_content_store/news/search/indexReplication
- shared_content_store/search/dictionary
- shared_content_store/search/stellent/dcs/oiexport/exporter
