Configure WebSphere SSL for Activity Stream

Configure WebSphere SSL for Activity Stream when we are installing FileNet into an existing Connections 5.0 deployment.

The following steps are not needed for the new FileNet Deployment scenario since Connections, and FileNet are in the same cell. Open the WAS's administration console on the FileNet system, and install the certificate from the Connections system.

If we are installing FileNet into an existing Connections 5.0 deployment, this procedure must be completed.

1. In a browser, open the WAS's administrative console for the FileNet Collaboration Services server; then click...
   Security | SSL certificate and key management | Key stores and certificates | CellDefaultTrustStore | Signer certificates

   In a configuration employs Tivoli Access Manager (TAM), import the certificates from the TAM server.

2. Click Retrieve from port.

3. Hostname and SSL port the Connections HTTP server is listening on, and then enter an alias name for this certificate.

4. Click Retrieve signer information.

5. Review the retrieved signer information and click OK.

6. Click Save.

7. Restart the application server.
