Properties that we can change only by editing the XML file

Common configuration properties for Connections that we can change only by manually editing LotusConnections-config.xml.

The following properties are stored in LotusConnections-config.xml but we cannot edit them using the wsadmin updateConfig command. Instead, check out configuration file and edit the property in a text editor.

Use the wsadmin LCConfigService.checkOutConfig command to check out the file. When you finish editing the file, check it in using the LCConfigService.checkInConfig command. the file is validated and we are notified if an error is found.

acf_config_file

For some applications, we can customize the configuration file used by the active content filter. To do so, we must manually edit the acf_config_file attribute of the <sloc:serviceReference> element that represents the application. See Configure the active content filter for Blogs, Wikis, and Forums or Configure the active content filter for Activities, Communities, and Bookmarks..
