Library reference collection

View and manage library references that define how to use global libraries. For example, we can use this page to associate shared library files with a deployed application.

From the admin console, click...

Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers > server > Java and Process Management > Class loader > class_loader_ID > Shared library references .

If no shared libraries are defined in the environment, such as at the node or server scope, after clicking Add a message is displayed stating that define a shared library before creating a library reference. A shared library is a container-wide library file that deployed applications can use. To define a shared library, click Environment > Shared libraries and specify the scope of the container. Then, click New and specify a name and one or more paths for the shared library. After defining a shared library, return to this page, click Add, and create a library reference.
