Manage resources for Java EE client applications
We can manage resources for Java EE application clients using the Application Client Resource Configuration Tool (ACRCT).
Before we can manage resources for a Java EE client application, we must have deployed that application.
After deploying a Java EE client application client, we might want to or need to update the resources that we configured for that client application.
To manage the resources of a Java EE client application deployed on z/OS, we can run the Application Client Resource Configuration Tool (ACRCT) on Windows, according to the following steps, and then reinstall the application on z/OS.

The clientUpgrade script migrates application client modules and their resources in an EAR file so that these application clients can run in WebSphere Application Server v8.5. The script converts an EAR file to migrate and then overwrites the original EAR file with the converted EAR file.
