Monitor the database tier
To prevent bottlenecks, Intelligent Management has several tools that provide the information necessary to monitor the database tier. Use the following list of monitoring tools and links to configure Intelligent Management to fit our needs.

Before a bottleneck occurs, Intelligent Management can help you anticipate potential problems and adjust the system accordingly. Customize the system using the following information.
Tasks
- Enable historic logging of statistical information in the environment.

- Evaluate historical information using the data exporter to filter out historical logs or parse logs directly.

- View CPU utilization at the database node level, and view average response time and throughput at the database server level.
