Troubleshoot > Work with Diagnostic ProvidersView the run time configuration of a component using Diagnostic Providers
We can use the dmgr console to navigate to configuration data used to check the health of a server runtime component.
You must have sufficient authority to run the action. Runtime components that have associated diagnostic providers can include their Diagnostic Provider ID (DPID) in their log entries. If we know the DPID, we can enter it directly in the quick link text box. Otherwise, navigate to the desired process using the tree view displayed at the bottom of the panel, as shown in the steps below.
- Start the administration console.
- From the task bar on the left side of the console, select Troubleshooting.
- From the task bar on the left side of the console, select Diagnostic Provider.
- From the task bar on the left side of the console, select Configuration Data.
- Either directly enter a Diagnostic Provider ID in the Quick link using diagnostic provider ID text box, or select a process (cluster / node / server) from the available processes displayed at the bottom of the panel under the section title Server selection topology.
- From the list of available diagnostic providers for the selected process, choose the desired diagnostic provider name. The configuration data for that diagnostic provider appears.
