Modify an IBM MQ server bus member definition
An IBM MQ server bus member is used for assigning queue points and mediation points to IBM MQ queues. This topic describes how to modify the attributes of an IBM MQ server bus member.
Decide which method to use to configure these resources. We can modify an IBM MQ server bus member using the console as described in this task, or using the modifySIBWMQServerBusMember command.
An IBM MQ server provides a direct client connection between a service integration bus and queues on an IBM MQ queue manager or (for IBM MQ for z/OS ) queue-sharing group. This command modifies the attributes of an IBM MQ server bus member.
- Start the console.
- Navigate to Service integration -> Buses -> bus_name -> [Topology] Bus members -> member_name. The IBM MQ server bus member [Settings] form is displayed.
- Make modifications as required. Refer to the IBM MQ server bus member [Settings] form.
- After configuring the Connection settings, click Test connection to test the connection toIBM MQ.
- When you have made all the changes that you require, click OK to confirm.
- Save the changes to the master configuration.
- Restart the application server.
