Security Configuration Wizard

The Security Configuration Wizard guides admins through the process of securing the application serving environment

Security > Global security > Security Configuration Wizard

Step one of the configuration wizard allows us to choose the level of security desired. Application-level security is selected by default. We also have the option of selecting Java 2 security.

Step two of the configuration wizard allows us to select a user repository.

• Federated repository wizard settings
• Local operating system wizard settings
• Stand-alone custom registry wizard settings
• Standalone LDAP registry wizard settings

Step three of the configuration wizard allows us to specify the local operating system user and group definitions as the repository, and, if necessary, to provide the name of a user with administrator privileges.

Step four of the configuration wizard provides a summary of the results of the configuration process.
