Planning for profiles

Before creating WAS profiles, remember that a minimum amount of space must be available in the directory where you create a profile.

Profiles grow when applications and associated log files are created, and therefore these increases must be considered at the planning stages. Errors can occur when we do not provide enough space to create a profile. Verify that we have file system reserves in addition to the minimum space required for a particular profile, for log files, and temporary files. The amount and size of these files can vary on your configuration and on used applications.
