Remove enterprise files

After a file is no longer needed, we can remove the file from a Java EE application or module deployed on a server.

This topic assumes that we have installed an application or module file on a server and to delete the file. Removing a file deletes the file from the product configuration repository and deletes the file from the file system of all nodes where the file is installed.

We can use the dmgr console to remove a file from an application or module.

Results

The file is exported to the designated location and removed from the application or module. The application or stand-alone Web module that had a file removed is restarted so the changes take effect.

Save the changes to your administrative configuration.

On single-server products, application binaries are deleted after you save the changes.
