JVM log configuration changes made to a running application server are not applied until the application server is restarted.
IBM recommends using the HPEL log and trace infrastructure. With HPEL, one views logs using the LogViewer command-line tool in PROFILE/bin.

- Scroll through the panel to display the attributes for the stream to configure.
- Change the appropriate configuration attributes and click Apply.
- Save your configuration changes.
