Message listener service
The message listener service is an extension to the JMS functions of the JMS provider. It provides a listener manager that controls and monitors one or more JMS listeners, which each monitor a JMS destination on behalf of a deployed message-driven bean.

Listener Ports
We can use the Listener Ports page to create and modify listener ports by specifying the following properties:
- Name
- Initial State
- Description
- Connection factory JNDI name
- Destination JNDI name
- Maximum sessions
- Maximum retries
- Maximum messages
Thread pool
We can use the Thread pool page to change the following properties for the message-driven bean thread pool:
- Minimum size
- Maximum size
- Thread inactivity timeout
Custom Properties
We can use the Custom properties page to define the following properties for use by the message listener service.

- ENABLE.ZOS.LP.RECOVERY
- MAX.RECOVERY.RETRIES
- MQJMS.POOLING.THRESHOLD
- MQJMS.POOLING.TIMEOUT
