Generic server clusters configuration

Use this topic to configure a generic server cluster. Creating a generic server cluster is the next step, after creating the proxy server, towards generating the ability to route requests to a non-IBM application server. From the console...

   Servers > Clusters > Generic server clusters > cluster_name.

Now that we have configured a generic server cluster, you can create cluster members and define the cluster endpoints. Click Additional properties > Ports.

We can edit generic server cluster configurable field settings on the Configuration tab.

Name

User-defined name for the cluster.

Protocol

The protocol field determines whether or not secure communication is used when connecting to members of the cluster.

The choices are HTTP and HTTPS.
