Stop business-level applications

We can stop a business-level application that is running and has a status of Started). The application must be running on a product server. We can stop applications manually using the admin console or wsadmin commands.

This topic describes how to use the admin console to stop a business-level application.


Procedure

  1. Go to the Business-level applications page.

    Click Applications > Application Types > Business-level applications

  2. Select the check box for the application you want stopped.

  3. Click Stop. The product stops the processing of the application and changes the state of the application to Stopped.


Results

The status of the application changes and a message stating that the application stopped displays at the top the page.


What to do next

To restart a stopped application, select the application you want to restart, and then click Start.
