Verify the logs for success

 


Step 9: Scenario 2: Migrating cells across operating systems using the command-line tools

After the WASPostUpgrade command completes, check the console output and logs for any warnings or errors. If there are errors, check the error codes against the v8.0 Information Center for more information.

Run the WASPostUpgrade command from the new dmgr profile bin directory


Procedure

  1. Check the WASPostUpgrade console output for "Failed with errors" or "Completed with warnings".
  2. Look in the following logs for warnings or errors:

    • mybackup_new_host/v61v8dmgr01/logs/WASPostMigrationSummary.log
    • mybackup_new_host/v61v8dmgr01/logs/WASPostUpgrade. <target profile name>. < timestamp >.log
    • mybackup_new_host/v61v8dmgr01/logs/WASPostUpgrade. <target profile name>.trace
