Set V5 default messaging resources

Use the following tasks to configure the JMS connection factories and destinations for WAS V5 applications.

You only have to complete these tasks if we have WebSphere application server V5 applications that use JMS resources provided by the default messaging provider. Such JMS resources are maintained as V5 default messaging resources.

In a dmgr cell, we can use the V5 default messaging provider to maintain V5 default messaging resources for both V6 and V5 nodes in the cell.

 

• Set a connection for V5 default messaging
• Set a queue connection factory for V5 default messaging
• Set a topic connection factory for V5 default messaging
• Set a queue for V5 default messaging
• Set a topic for V5 default messaging
