Delete server templates

The steps below describe how to delete a server template that you no longer need.

 

1. In the admin console, click Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers , and then click Templates.

   We can also use the deleteServerTemplate wsadmin command to delete server templates.

2. Select the template you want to delete, and click Delete.

 

Results

The template you chose is removed from the list and cannot be used to create a new appserver.

 

Next steps

We can perform one of the following actions to display a list of the server templates that are still available on the system:

1. In the admin console ...

   Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers, and then click Templates.

2. Issue the listServerTemplates wsadmin command.
