We can view this admin console page whenever you create a new cluster or a new cluster member. This summary page displays the configuration changes before you commit the changes and the new cluster or cluster member is created.

The bounding node group of the cluster is based on the first application server that is added as a member of the cluster. The settings for this first member become the settings for the cluster member template that is then used to create additional cluster members. To select a different bounding node group, in the admin console, click...

Servers | Clusters | WebSphere application server clusters | cluster_name | Clusters members | New

... and then select the appropriate node group for the new cluster member. When you select a different node group, another cluster member template is automatically created for that node group, if one does not already exist.

Review the changes to the configuration, and then click Finish to complete and save the work.
