4.3.2 Starting and stopping the deployment managerThe deployment manager must be started and stopped with commands. The console is not available unless it is running. On a Windows system, you have the option of registering the deployment manager as a Windows service. In order to have it registered, select this option when you create the deployment manager profile or register it later using the WASService command (Enabling process restart on failure.
