6.6 Using large page sizes AIX provides multiple page sizes to help increase performance of memory intensive applications. Because all applications running on WebSphere Application Server with a large heap will realize a benefit from using larger page sizes, their use is recommended. This section explains how to use the large page sizes available on AIX.
