Regenerating the Web server plug-in configuration file
Overview
This topic describes the steps to regenerate the Web server plug-in configuration file after you modify the request metrics configuration.
After modifying the request metrics configuration, complete the following steps to regenerate the Web server plug-in configuration file. Regeneration ensures that the Web server plug-in recognizes the changes that you made for the request metrics configuration. If you make multiple changes to request metrics, then regenerate the plug-in configuration files when you complete all the changes.
You must complete this step after you change the request metrics configuration. If you do not, the Web server plug-in might have different request metrics configuration data than the appserver. This difference in configuration data might cause inconsistent behaviors for request metrics between the Web server plug-in and the appserver.

- Click...
Server | Web servers
- Select the Web server check box.
- Click Generate Plug-in.
