- Release notes
- The release notes summarize late-breaking news and product limitations. Ideally, review them prior to installing WebSphere XD, as addendums to the installation and configuration instructions.
- Scripts
- A list of scripts that are included in WebSphere XD installation that might be helpful for automating tasks in your environment.
- Administrative roles and privileges
- To perform tasks in the administrative console or with scripting, you must have the correct administrative privileges. The privileges vary whether you have monitor, operator, administrator, or configurator administrative privileges.
- Administrator scripting interfaces
- You can complete various tasks using the administrative scripting interfaces. You can use these administrative tasks to automate tasks that you might normally perform with the administrative console.
- Custom properties
- Custom properties are special, "write in" settings in the administrative console. They are name-value pairs that you can enter on specific administrative console pages.
- Port number settings
- Identify the default port numbers that are used in the various configuration processes to avoid port conflicts.

- You can use log files to help with performance monitoring, accounting and problem determination.
