Cluster validation
- Proper deployment and node configuration
- Be sure we can log in and navigate pages on each node. Activate only one node at a time to verify them
- Failover/session recovery (if HTTP session failover used)
- Log in to one portal, navigate to a page
- Stop that node (kill the process)
- Click a link, and validate that you are on the same page on a different node
- Dynacache configuration
- Log in one node as a typical end user
- Log in another node as administrator
- As administrator, modify the layout of a page
- Validate that the page change is seen by the other user on the other node after logoff/login
- Portlet deployment
- Log in to two nodes as the same user
- Install a portlet on one node
- Synchronize and activate the portlet
- Add the portlet to a page on the other node and test the portlet
