Configure LDAP server for non-realm support for z/OS and OS/390
Choose one of the following methods to configure the LDAP server for non-realm support.
- Configuring IBM SecureWay Security Server for z/OS and OS/390 for non-realm support
Choose this option to configure the WAS to access the LDAP server directly. In this configuration, only one user registry and, therefore only one "realm", can be created. Configuring for LDAP without realm support should be used only for systems where only one portal is required and all user information can be stored in one location. However, to provide for future flexibility, the recommended configuration is for LDAP with realm support.
