Enable Lotus QuickPlace members to schedule online meetings in Inline QuickPlace

You specify the name of a IBM Lotus QuickPlace administrator and Internet name of the Lotus QuickPlace server to enable members to schedule online meetings.

Perform the following steps:

  1. On any system with a browser, enter the URL of the Lotus QuickPlace server. For example:

    http://servername.enterprise.com/QuickPlace

  2. Click Sign In at the top corner of the screen.

  3. Enter the user name and password of a Lotus QuickPlace server administrator.

  4. Click...

    Server Settings | Other Options | Edit Options

  5. Under Sametime Servers, enter the full URL of the IBM Lotus Sametime Meeting Server. For example:

    http://meetingserver.enterprise.com

  6. Click...

    Next | My Places

    ...and open a place.

  7. Click...

    Customize | Basics | Change Basics

  8. Scroll down to the bottom of the Change Basics page. Under Real-time collaboration, make sure...

    "Members can schedule online meetings"

    ...is selected.

    This setting is enabled by default, but you should check to make sure it is actually enabled in any Lotus QuickPlace where members will be collaborating online.

  9. Click Done.
