By default, the credential settings in the CSEnvironment.properties file are set to use an LTPA token for user login. We can override the settings to use an internal IBM Lotus Sametime token instead.

This change is required in a site where the Lotus Sametime server is protected by Computer Associates eTrust SiteMinder.

After making this change, see Related tasks for instructions on resolving the user name for the portal user with the Sametime server user name.

Perform the following steps:

  1. Modify the CSEnvironment.properties.

  2. Set...

        CS_SERVER_SAMETIME_1.useLTPAToken=false

Note that if...

CS_SERVER_CUSTOM_CRED.enabled=true

...and the value for...

CS_SERVER_CUSTOM_CRED.ssoTokenAttrib

...is set, the token that is set will be used for logging into Lotus Sametime instead of the LTPA token.
