Data selection

 

The Data Selection section of a custom alert definition lists all of the available parameters that can be used in the definition.

Alert parameters come from the discrete and table-based parameter lists declared in Alert Data builder calls in the project's models. These builder calls are usually found in models designed as Data Service Provider models. These type of models connect to a data source and make data available to other models and processes through exposed methods.

It is the responsibility of the creator of these models to use descriptive names for these parameters so that creators of Alert Definitions will be able to determine which parameters they should choose.

Add data to the alert definition by choosing parameters from the list on the left and adding them using the Add button. Use the Add, Remove, Add All, and Remove All buttons to choose the desired list of parameters. Parent topic: Alert definitions
