Overview

When you created a deployment manager profile, a deployment manager was created. A deployment manager provides a single, central point of administrative control for all elements in a WAS distributed cell. You can run the deployment manager with its default settings. However, you can follow this task to change the deployment manager configuration settings such as the ports the process uses, custom services, logging and tracing settings, and so on.

Procedure

  1. Access the settings page for a deployment manager. Click...

    System Administration | Deployment Manager

...from the navigation tree of the administrative console.

  2. Configure the deployment manager as desired by clicking on a property such as Custom Services and specifying settings on the resulting pages.
