What command events are
Command events are notifications that an MQSC, or PCF command has been executed successfully.
The event data of a command event message contains the following information:
- Origin information, describes the queue manager from where the command was executed, the ID of the user that executed the command, and how the command was executed, for example by a console command.
- Context information, is a replica of the context information in the message data from the command message. If a command is not entered using a message, context information is omitted.
Note:Context information will only be included in the event data if the command was entered as a message on the SYSTEM.COMMAND.INPUT queue.- Command information, describes the type of command that was executed.
- Command data, for PCF commands is a replica of the command data, or for MQSC commands is the command text.
Every command event message that is generated is placed on the command event queue, SYSTEM.ADMIN.COMMAND.EVENT.
