Working with the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) on i5/OS

 

This chapter describes how you set up and work with the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) on i5/OS. The operations we can perform are:

For i5/OS, the SSL support is integral to the operating system. Ensure that you have installed the prerequisites listed in WebSphere MQ for iSeries™ Quick Beginnings.

On i5/OS, you manage keys and digital certificates with the Digital Certificate Manager (DCM) tool.
