4. Extract a copy of each certificate

 

In order to authenticate a partner’s certificate when using self-signed certificates, send a copy to the partner system. In order to send it, first extract it:

• On UNIX or Windows systems as described in Extracting the CA part of a self-signed certificate from a key repository.

• On z/OS systems as described in Exporting a personal certificate from a key repository.
