Controlling the number of user IDs checked

RESLEVEL is a Security Server profile that controls the number of user IDs checked for WebSphere MQ resource security. Normally, when a user attempts to access a WebSphere MQ resource, Security Server checks the relevant user ID or IDs to see if access is allowed to that resource. By defining a RESLEVEL profile we can control whether zero, one or, where applicable, two user IDs are checked.

These controls are done on a connection by connection basis, and last for the life of the connection.

There is only one RESLEVEL profile for each queue manager. Control is implemented by the access that a user ID has to this profile.
