WebSphere MQ and IMS

 

This chapter discusses how WebSphere MQ works with IMS. The IMS adapter allows you to connect your queue manager to IMS, and enables IMS applications to use the MQI.

The optional additional WebSphere MQ IMS bridge enables applications to run an IMS application that does not use the MQI. This means that we can use your legacy applications with WebSphere MQ, without the need to rewrite them.
