This appendix concerns the MDREP and MDMFL fields that are part of the message descriptor MQMD specified on the MQGET, MQPUT, and MQPUT1 calls (see MQMD - Message descriptor). The appendix describes:

• The structure of the report field and how the queue manager processes it

• How an application should analyze the report field

• The structure of the message-flags field
